I’ve had these on my bike since 1996 or so. At the time I was really into mountain biking and spent every free minute on the LI Greenbelt trail. I didn’t ride a lot when my kids were young, although we loved the Wee Ride and the trailer. We were living near the Minuteman Trail, and would ride into Lexington, MA for ice cream.

Now, everyone’s in school and I am able to carve out ample time to pursue my love of riding. In the past three years, I’ve been riding a lot. Currently I ride about 15-20 miles a day, several times a week, with my mountain bike, on the winding country roads in Southern NH.

The toe straps were starting to fray and after almost 20 years I thought it was a good time to replace them.
